Terms and Conditions for Participation in the Event

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and attending this event, participants agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms are binding on all persons attending the event, including minors and their parents or legal guardians.

2. Registration and Participation

Each participant must register and provide the requested information accurately and truthfully. Minors (under 18 years of age) are required to present a signed authorisation from a parent or legal guardian in order to participate in the event. If they are under 16 years of age, they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

3. Participants between 16 and 18 years old

Those between 16 and 18 years of age who wish to attend the event may do so without the supervision of a third party. To do so, they must present at the time of accreditation a proof of attendance signed by their father, mother or legal guardian.

This proof of attendance must include the following information:

  • Full name of the minor
  • Full name of the parent or legal guardian
  • Relationship to the child
  • Signature of parent or legal guardian
  • Parent's or legal guardian's contact telephone number

4. Standards of conduct

The organisers are not responsible for the individual supervision of minors, beyond the provisions of this policy. Parents or legal guardians assume all responsibility for the participation of the minor in the event, exonerating the organization of any claim that may arise.

Like any other attendee, minors must behave in a respectful manner and follow all the rules of the event and any inappropriate conduct will be grounds for expulsion from the event, notifying parents or legal guardians immediately.

5. Use of Images and Recordings

During the event, photographs and video recordings may be taken for promotional and broadcast purposes. However, we respect each participant's decision regarding their consent to be photographed or filmed.

Upon receipt of accreditation at the event, each participant will be able to choose between two colours of accreditation ribbon, one on which they consent to have images and video taken of them and one on which they do not:

  • Acceptance landyard: The person consents to be photographed and/or videotaped during the event. These images and videos may be used by the organisation in promotional materials, social media, and other media.
  • Refusal landyard: The person does not consent to be photographed or videotaped during the event. The organisation will respect this choice and agrees not to use images or recordings in which the person is identifiable.

It is the responsibility of the person to choose the corresponding tape at the time of accreditation and to wear it visibly throughout the event.

6. Responsibility

The event organisers cannot be held responsible for accidents, damages, losses or any incident that may occur during the event.

7. Data Protection

Personal information provided by attendees will be treated in accordance with current data protection laws. The data will only be used for the management of the event and will not be shared with third parties without the consent of the individual.

8. Modifications to the Terms

The organisation reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this agreement, notifying attendees of any changes in a timely manner.

9. Penalties for Violation of Rules

Participants who violate any of these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference at the discretion of the organisers. Sanctions may include formal warning, immediate expulsion from the event, and prohibition from participating in future events organised by the same entity.
